Fraunhofer Usage Mining (FUSAMI) is a project and product designed by Fraunhofer Portugal for internal purposes, but which can be useful to external parties. The tool allows monitoring and analysing users’ behaviour with regards to their interaction with a smartphone touch screen.

It is a unique tool, in that it provides different types of data visualization for expert analysis. It produces not only heat maps, but also navigation sequences, statistics on widget use, amongst others.

Beyond complementing traditional usability testing methods, it allows remote testing.
