There is an important aspect beyond people’s ability to use a product: their experience with it. Beyond usable, a product should be useful and hopefully pleasurable to use. The evaluation of user experience will be better if we are able to evaluate the product in a real setting, within the users’ natural milieu, and for a long period of time.

User experience takes into account dimensions that go beyond functionality, such as emotions and moods, and is a fundamental aspect on, for instance, technology acceptance.
